Wish the 2017–2019 In Colors a Fond Farewell
- Base Card (Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock) 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″. Fold in half using the Bone Folder for a sharp crease.
- 2nd Layer (Balmy Blue Card Stock) 4 1/8 x 5 3/8″ Adhere to base card
- 3rd Layer (Botanical Butterfly DSP) 4 x 5 1/4″. Adhere to 2nd Layer
- Greeting (Very Vanilla Card Stock) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2″ Die cut using the Layering Circles. Stamp greeting with Black Tuxedo Ink
- Front Panel (Very Vanilla Card Stock) 3 x 4″ Stamp images with Black Tuxedo Ink. Color in the image with So Saffron Stampin’ Write Marker (for ducklings) and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker (duckling rain gear). The mama duck’s outfit is paper pieced from the Botanical Butterfly DSP. Color in the feet and bills using the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker. Add a little bit of Granite Gray for shadows under the feet.
- Strip of Balmy Blue (1/2 x 4″) to add under front panel (see picture).
- Strip of Delightfully Detailed Laser DSP. I sponged it with Balmy Blue Ink before adding to front panel.
- Add a couple of dots, pearls, rhinestones to finish off the card. What I used is retired and I can’t remember the name of the embellishment 🙁
