Good Afternoon Crafters!
Today’s share is the sweet whimsical retiring 😔 Elephant Parade Stamp Set Bundle card. It’s for David’s great granddaughters. While we were in Jamaica last week, we bought them t-shirts and I was looking for ideas for a card to include with the shirts. The ones I have with the palm trees just weren’t cute or whimsical enough so I went with the elephants.

The images were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored in with Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Combo for the body and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Combo for the ears. I added a little blush on the cheeks and on the toe nails.

The background (bottom portion) was sponged with Parakeet Party Ink and a Blending Brush. The clouds were created with a hand-made cloud template using Balmy Blue Ink and a Blending Brush. The grass is from the retiring 😔 Paradise Palms Stamp Set and was stamped with Parakeet Party Ink.

The background layer was cut using the largest die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. If you enjoyed my project for today, please be sure to visit my Card Gallery for lots of ideas and inspiration. Have a great day!
