Hello my Stampin’ Friends
Well, it looks like those delightful warm days are behind us now. We’ve quickly transitioned back to cold days and even colder nights. The weather in our area has been quite the rollercoaster ride lately! This Highland Heather floral card from the Delightful Wishes Bundle seems perfect for sending warm thoughts during these chilly end of winter/beginning of spring days.
The “Wishing” card showcases a stunning arrangement of purple flowers from the Delightful Wishes Bundle. The vibrant Highland Heather blooms are layered against a textured Basic White background created with the Forever Plaid embossing folder. Bright Granny Apple Green leaves add a fresh contrast to the Highland Heather florals, while the cursive “wishing” sentiment in matching Highland Heather creates an elegant focal point at the bottom of the design.
The card’s foundation features a Thick Basic White card base with a Highland Heather mat providing a perfect frame around the embossed Basic White panel. The dimensional layering technique gives the card wonderful depth, with the die-cut flowers appearing to float above the textured surface. A few strategically placed Purple Fine Shimmer Gems add subtle sparkle and visual interest to the composition.
This clean and sophisticated design demonstrates the beautiful coordination of Stampin’ Up! colors and products. The textured background complements but doesn’t compete with the detailed floral images, while the balanced color palette of Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, and Basic White creates a fresh, spring-like feel.
