Elegant Friendship Card Featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Gallery Blooms Bundle

By | April 5, 2025

Good Afternoon my Stampin’ Friends!

Here’s a little peek at some NEW products heading our way in May. It’s always exciting to receive packages with new products inside! The creative process gets a fresh burst of inspiration as we discover new items to fall in love with. I cannot list these new items in the Supply List until the catalog goes live in May. But the stamp set bundle is beautiful, and the Designer Series Paper is gorgeous!

This elegant thank you card showcases Stampin’ Up!’s Gallery Blooms Bundle with a gorgeous arrangement of Calypso Carol blooms against a split background design. The card features a warm color palette of coral, cream, and mossy brown, with dimensional floral elements carefully fussy-cut and layered over a textured background. A heartfelt “THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP” sentiment anchors the design, making this card perfect for expressing gratitude to a special friend. The coordinating patterned envelope adds a professional finishing touch to this handcrafted creation.

Gallery Blooms

I stamped the main image with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock, then colored the petals with Calypso Coral and the leaves with Mossy Meadow. For the flower centers, I used Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends. After coloring, I cut the image with the coordinating Gallery Blooms Dies. I also cut large leaves using Mossy Meadow Cardstock and the coordinating die from the Gallery Blooms Dies set.

The base card is Pecan Pie Cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and folded in half. Layer #1 is Calypso Coral Cardstock cut with the large die from the Textured Notes Dies. Layer #2 is from the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Layer #3 is Calypso Coral Cardstock, embossed with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder. Layer #4 is Basic Beige Cardstock cut from the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

All layers, including the circle, were adhered to the base card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The floral image was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the large leaves were glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The sentiment from the Perennial Postage Stamp Set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock and cut using the Textured Notes Dies. Antique Pearls were added for visual interest.

The inside of the card was layered with Calypso Coral Cardstock. Layer #1 is Basic Beige Cardstock cut using one of the dies from the Textured Notes Dies. A small strip of Beautiful Gallery DSP was added to the bottom of the card. A small leaf from the Gallery Blooms Dies was die cut from Mossy Meadow Cardstock. For a more cohesive look, the same DSP was added to the envelope flap, followed by a small Mossy Meadow Cardstock leaf.
