Elegant Floral Congratulations Card Featuring Embossed Details and Bold Real Red Design

By | February 19, 2025

Hello my Stampin’ Friends!

I think we got about a foot of snow in our area, which means we’re not going anywhere for the next couple of days. That’s okay with me – more time to craft! We have a 90th birthday to celebrate on Friday night, so I hope the roads are clear by then.

Love & Strength SS, #164252, $23.00

Take a moment to send heartfelt words of comfort to a loved one with the Love & Strength Stamp Set. This compassionate collection includes thoughtfully crafted sentiments perfect for expressing support during difficult times. The elegant line art designs offer versatility – color them yourself using various techniques, or leave them uncolored to give your recipient a mindful coloring activity during their healing journey.

Love & Strength

This handcrafted congratulations card showcases a stunning Real Red Poppy as its central focal point, beautifully detailed with Real Red petals and a Daffodil Delight yellow center. The flower is accompanied by several die-cut Mossy Meadow Cardstock leaves, from the Stipple Roses Dies, featuring an intricate dotted texture pattern, creating a lovely natural arrangement against the Basic White background.

The card’s design incorporates multiple layers of visual interest, beginning with a textured white background featuring an embossed plaid pattern from the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. A diagonal strip of vibrant Real Red striped paper, from the Marble Elegance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) adds a dynamic element to the composition, while a delicate circular die-cut frame, from the Spot on Nature Dies, surrounds the floral element. The word “Congratulations!” is elegantly written in a flowing script, complementing the overall design without overwhelming it. This is from the Greetings for all Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

To complete the elegant look, the I added small red embellishments in the form of gems, from the Cherry Cobbler & Pearls Adhesive Backed Berries, strategically placed around the design. The entire piece is mounted on a Basic White card base with a Basic Black border frame, creating a polished and professional finish.

The inside of the card features a matching red striped paper DSP and a small green leaf accent die-cut. The envelope, uses the same striped design DSP to create a coordinated look from start to finish.
