Hello my Stampin’ Friends
Another Baby Shower card for a friend who lives in Washington State and cannot attend the shower. I wished we had more baby theme products in Stampin’ Up!
This charming handmade card features a sweet illustration of a baby wearing a bear-like onesie or costume from the retired Wildly Adorable Stamp Set. The image is colored with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends for the onesie and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends for the face and hands. The bib is paper pieced using the same pattern paper (non SU) as the background. Additionally, small dots of Bubble Bath Ink are added to the cheeks.
The card’s background showcases a sophisticated layering of textures and patterns. The main backdrop uses a pink plaid or tartan design, while the central image is framed by an embossed Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder with a decorative scalloped edge from the Perennial Postage Dies. The front panel is cut from the Nested Essentials Pack Dies.
A delicate pink ribbon or bow adds a finishing touch to the bottom corner.
Two strips of matching pattern paper from the front of the card is added to the inside panel. The same plaid patten paper was used for the envelope flap.
