Hello my Stampin’ Friends!
Add romantic, garden-inspired touches to your cards, scrapbooks, and gift tags with the Stippled Roses Stamp Set. The elegant stippled design of roses, buds, and branches brings beautiful detail to your paper crafts. Color the velvety petals with Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends in pink or red, or stamp leaves in your favorite ink and fill with complementary colors. The rich stippled texture helps you create stunning Mother’s Day, thank you, birthday, and congratulation cards that evoke the beauty of blooming rose gardens.
I stamped the main rose image with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then colored the petals with Melon Mambo and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. For added dimension, I also cut extra leaves from Old Olive Cardstock using a coordinating die from the Stippled Roses Dies collection.
For the card base, I used Melon Mambo Cardstock. The first layer consists of Basic Black Cardstock, while the second layer features Basic White Cardstock embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.
I added a small bow using the Black & Vanilla Ribbon. For visual interest, I also attached three small Matte Black Dots to complete the design.
I stamped “Happy Mother’s Day” with Tuxedo Black Ink. To coordinate with the front design, I added a small strip of the same Black & Vanilla Ribbon. For a cohesive look, I stamped a small rose on both the lower right side of the card interior and the front of the envelope.
