Today’s card features the Decorative Doily Stamp Set – it was inspired one made by Janice Whiting. Shabby Chic has always been my #1 type card to make and when I saw the original version, I knew I was going to case it!
The doily images were stamped with Clear Pigment Ink onto Oatmeal Cookie Card Stock. I then added White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Gun. The two large doily images were stamped on the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Oatmeal Cookie Card Stock and the smaller one on a separate scrap of Oatmeal Cookie Card Stock.
The greeting was stamped with Dark Roast Ink onto Whip Cream Card Stock and die cut using the Journey Ovals Dies. I adhered the greeting to the smaller doily.
I wrapped the Oatmeal Cookie Organza Ribbon once around the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Oatmeal card stock and tied a bow. I then added the smaller doily to the center of the card with Foam Squares.
I mixed a little bit of water with the Whip Cream Reinker, dipped the Blendng Brush into the mixture and flicked it onto the front of the card. I hope that we get Whip Cream Silk very soon. I love using the silks on my cards!
