Today’s card is for my grandson, Troy, who lost a very close friend last week – she was 20 years old. I used the Daisy Delight Photopolymer Stamp Set for his card.
I first stamped the stems with Tranquil Tide Classic Ink on Whisper White Card Stock. I then stamped the daisy image twice on the Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper and punched them out using the Daisy Punch. I cut the daisy images in half and layered together to form the cone flower. I used Chocolate Chip Card Stock for the middle which was embossed using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and punched out using a retired 1/4″ punch.
The sentiment was typed on Word using RGB#’s for the color Tranquil Tide. It was punched out using the retired Washi Tape.
The background is the Seaside Embossing Folder. Embossing it vertical instead of horizontal reminded me of tall grass.
