Hi my Stampin’ Friends!
Discover the joy of crafting a delightful fun fold card! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting, this guide will walk you through the steps to create a captivating card using the Garden Meadows Stamp Bundle and the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper.
Here it is late November and I’m working on spring projects! It’s fun to make spring like cards when it’s dark and rainy. This card is a lot easier to make than it looks. It’s just two cuts and a score!
This is a sketch of the fun fold card – not to scale!
Quick video on how the card opens up.
The side panels (Crush Curry Cardstock) were embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The cardstock measures 4 1/8″ x 1 7/8″ and was attached with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The gate (it’s actually two glued together) has a strip of acetate sheet under it to give it stability. It was glue to the two front panels with our Tear and Tape Adhesive.
The floral image were stamped with Tuxedo Black and colored in with Fresh Freesia, Blueberry Bushel and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The leaves and grass with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I added 3 butterfies from the Brushed Brass Butterlies.
A sentiment from the stamp set was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink to the inside of the card. I also added to two layers of the Meandering Meadows DSP to the sides.
I stamped a floral image to the front of the enveloped and colored it with Fresh Freesia for the flowers and Shaded Spruce for the leaves and grass. Please Note: When coloring on envelopes with our stampin’ blends, you should put something inside the envelope to keep it from bleeding through the envelope.
