I think I’ve said this before but I think the images in the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper are sooooo cute. I love the fawn, Santa Claus and Christmas tree images.
To get the background, I sponged Pool Party Classic Ink using our Stampin’ Sponges. Here’s a picture of the technique (I thought it would be easier to show it then try to explain it. The card stock on the left is layered over the card stock on the right is adhered using a temporary adhesive. I use adhesive to keep it from sliding around. I just keep sponging concentrating on the outside of the circle until I get the desired effect.
The snow is Versamark and the embossed with White Stampin’ Embossed Powder using one of the splatter images from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.
The fawn was cut out using my newest toy, Scan N Cut. And the greeting is from the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set stamped with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.
If you need any supplies to make this card or supplies in general, visit my Stampin’ Store for fast and prompt service and you can even shop in your jammies! And while you are there don’t forget to add the hostess code for this month (see right sidebar) and you’ll receive a card and a free gift from me (this month it’s the Cottage Greeting Card Kit)!
Or you can send me your list and I’ll place the order for you!
If you want to make this card, just click on the “Print Recipe” link and it will print out the supply list and a picture of the card
