Good Afternoon Crafters
Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is our 30th anniversary and I decided to make a card that included both occasions. When we got engaged, we decided that I would pick the day and he would pick the location. Well, I picked Valentine’s Day because I thought it would be so romantic not knowing that my husband would pick Loveland Ski Resort (back then we skied a lot). Well, we got married at the top of Lift #2 in a small cabin. We all skied back down the hill to celebrate afterwards – even the minister! Truly a wonderful and memorable occasion!
For the card, I used the Country Bouquet because I love the floral heart in it.
I first stamped the heart 2 times using Sweet Sorbet and Blushing Bride Inks. I then masked that heart and then stamped the 2nd heart in Balmy Blue and Night of Navy Inks. In case you don’t know, the first stamp contains the flowers and the second stamp has the leaves.
The small hearts were inked up with the Balmy Blue and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Write Markers. They were stamped randomly around the large hearts.
The greeting was computer generated.
The inside of the card – also computer generated.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Happy anniversary!! What a fun and memorable wedding you had.
Thanks Angie – yes, it was an awesome memory.
