Convention Smash Books

By | July 17, 2013

Hi Stampin’ Friends

If you are reading this Thursday morning, I’m on my way to convention via Chicago!  Can’t believe I’m going northeast to go west!

Now that the girls are at convention, I wanted to show you the name tags I’m making for their Stampin’ Up! bags.  The colors of the bags are silver and blue so I decided to go with those colors.  With approx. 5800 demonstrators (or 5800 bags), it will be good to have our names on the bag.  Laurenda is my cousin-in-law and hotel roommate and Valerie is my downline.  I made my tag first so I didn’t notice that you can see right through the striped grey washi tape so I added a strip of Whisper White card tock and it looks so much better!

I also decided to make them smash books to document all the fun I know we will be having during convention!  The official color of the Stampin’ Up! convention logo was pink and blue but I was able to change it to match the Epic Day This and That colors thanks to My Digital Studio.  Pretty neat, huh!

magic platform

By far, the HOTTEST NEW ITEM in the catalog is the Big Shot Magnetic Platform!!!!  It is a MUST HAVE!!!  Stampin’ Up! sold what they thought was a 13 week supply in just 3 weeks!!!  And now they are on backorder.

They are “trickling” in from the supplier, and backorders are being filled in the order received…..however, on THURSDAY, they are going to make it UNAVAILABLE until all backorders are filled and there is a large supply again….they are anticipating sometime this fall!!!!

SO–ORDER TODAY!!!  You will then be on the backorder list and will get sooner than waiting.  After Thursday, no chance at all until sometime this fall!!!

Why do I NEED?  When using the FRAMELITS–they stay in place.    Stamp your image, and then using the magnetic platform, you simply place the framelit over the image and it stays there!!!

Watch this video to see how amazing this platform is!

Thanks for stopping by today
