Christmas in July

By | July 24, 2011

Hi Stampers

Opener
The Christmas in July Club is back for the 5th year in a row!  This is the perfect, short-term club commitment for anyone who wants to send lovely handmade Christmas cards but doesn’t feel like they have the time.  We will be meeting once a month during July, August, September, October and November to create 10 Christmas cards each month— 10 each of two designs—for a grand total of 50 beautiful holiday cards at the end of the five sessions.

The cards will be able to be more advanced and may also include 3D projects.  So be prepared for some more advanced techniques, fun folds, and lots of Christmas bling! I will be designing a variety of styles and color schemes so there will be something for everyone.  We will be using AMAZING new products from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog, revealed at convention this past week! Holy cow is there some cool stuff in there!! Can anyone say new punches?? New dies?? new folders??

Our class sessions will be on the last Friday of the month.  Cost is just $20.00 per person per month for the five month commitment.

If you’d like to join me in being prepared in advance this year for the holidays, be all done with your cards by 1 December, and have a fun day out once a month, call or email me today to reserve your spot! E-mail me at rachelbrumley@cox.net or (479) 876-7453

PS–PLEASE FORWARD THIS LINK TO YOUR FRIENDS!! If one of them RSVP’s, I will have a gift for you both at the first meeting : )

Our first meeting is on Friday, 29 July 2011.  I'm using one of my favorite stamp sets, called Scenic Season.  It's perfect for easy and elegant holiday cards.  A good beginning in sending holiday greetings to all your loved ones with a special handmade touch.  Scienic-Season-400 copy The trees are colored in using Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker around the edges and Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker on the rest of the tree.  Though you can't see it in the picture, I added our new Dazzling Details (iridescent glitter glue) to the edges of the trees and on the ground beneath each tree.  It's from the Holiday Mini and will be available for purchase on 1 September 2011.

The base card (Old Olive Card Stock) was embossed using the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

The other stamp set we will be using is Snow Much Fun from the new catalog.  I'll have a picture up in the next couple of days.

If you plan to come to this Friday's class, please let me know by Wednesday, 27 July 2011.
