Did you know that our acrylic paints are 20% off this month?  Our acrylic paints are artist quality, non-toxic, fast drying pigment paint.  You can apply it to any surface and leaves a vibrant smooth, matte finish.  I used the paint for the background for this card. Today’s card features the Dance Life Stamp Set.  It’s a wedding card for my nephew and his bride to be. I wanted to… Read More »

Harvest Wreath

Today’s card was inspired by a one made by Laura Williams, Fun Stampers Journey Concept Designer.  I did change a couple of things to make it my own, i.e., made it darker and used Pomegranate Splash instead of Oatmeal Cookie for one of the backgrounds., changed the ribbon and used Cranberry Bliss Silk instead of Gold Silk. The leaves are from a retired FSJ accessory (retired last year but I… Read More »

Cottage Bloom Die Set

Today’s card is in answer to a team sketch challenge.  I used the Cottage Bloom Die Set from the gorgeous Good Life Collection. Here is my card I used our new colors (Rustic Rose and Fresh Sage Card Stock) for the flowers.  The yellow is the Pineapple Smoothie Card Stock. The greeting is the Must Have Stamp Set and was stamped with Black Licorice Ink onto the Whip Cream Card… Read More »

Peony Blooms

Today’s card features the gorgeous Peony Blooms Stamp Set.  I wanted to make a quick and simple birthday card and this set was perfect for that look. I first drew a half circle using the large die from the Journey Circles Die Set and a pencil.  I then followed the pencil line to line up the flower images. The washi tape is retired and one of the tapes was from… Read More »

Artful Butterfly

Today’s post features the Artful Butterfly Die and our gorgeous new colors part of The Good Life Collection.  I love the names of the new colors:  Haystack, Tin Pail, Chambray Shirt, Peaches & Cream, Fresh Sage and Rustic Rose! Instead of using the new color card stock, I swiped each ink pad onto Whip Cream Card Stock until I had the desired depth of color I wanted.  Each square of… Read More »

Happy Birthday Rachel

Today’s post features a birthday card for my granddaughter, Rachel.  She has two boxers she absolutely adores and I thought she would like a birthday card from them. Their names are Quorra and Cletus (Quorra is from the movie Tron and Cletus is just a good old country name). The images are from Goggle images and the greeting is computer generated.  The background paper is from the new RSVP Printed… Read More »

This is really the hardest type of card to make and I making it for a friend and long time customer who died this week. The Summer Rose is a 3 step stamping image.  The first image (solid) was stamped with Pretty Amethyst Ink and the 2nd and 3rd images were stamped with Pretty Pansy Ink. The leaf solid image was stamped with Sweet Pear Ink and the Detailed image… Read More »

Artful Butterfly

Decided to make a bright and cherry card for today’s post.  I used the Small Things Stamp Set for the greeting but the focus was on the butterfly from the Artful Butterfly Die Set. The background and butterfly (2nd layer for butterfly) is from the Spring Filled Prints (retired and sold out). A quick and easy card to put together since the only stamping involved was the greeting! Download Artful… Read More »
