Designer Embossing

Today's card uses a technique I saw in the latest issue of Stampin' Success (June 2009) called designer embossing.  Basically, you emboss on designer paper instead of card stock.  I used Old Olive Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder on Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper.  TIP:  Choose large images to emboss.  Small embossed images on a busy DSP may add a little more zing than you want! Dogwoods

Simple Flower
