Good Morning Stampers Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today's card is one the ladies will be making at Stamp Camp on Wednesday, 10 March 2010.  If you are not busy that day and you live in the Northwest Arkansas area, come on over and have some fun.  Just let me know so that I can be sure and have enough card stock cut up for everyone! Simple Sunday

Good Morning Stampers! I thought I would try something a little different for Sundays.  As you know I usually make with cards with a lot of layers, pattern paper, ribbon – in other words a lot of embellishments.  On Sundays I will feature a clean and simple card – let's see how long I can do this. You can't see it in the picture, but I scored a line just… Read More »

At last!

Good Morning Stampers Well I finally jumped on the wagon and recorded a video. Don't know why I waited so long! This is my first one so please be gentle with me (LOL). Here's the card: I cased the card from Chera Wiest of Create Embellish Adore and she was nice enough to give me permission to do a video on how to make this cute, cute card. Supplies: Stamp Set: … Read More »

Happy Birthday Ryan

Good Morning Stampers Today's post features a birthday card for our grandson Ryan who lives in Seattle.  Usually making a card for a teenage boy can be very difficult but when Stampin' Up! introduced the extreme sports stamps, I knew I had to have all of them.  They are perfect for teenagers and even young males in their 20's. I used the Night and Day Designer Series Paper which is retiring today (4… Read More »

Elegant Thank You

Good Morning Stampers I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.  We had a white Christmas (first time for us!) and since it was only about one inch, the sun came out today and melted the snow.   But it was beautiful while it lasted. I thought I would get a head start on the holiday thank you notes.  Even though Christmas is over I am still able to get some use… Read More »

One last Christmas card

Good Morning Stampers! I saved this card for the last because it's my Christmas card for this year and I wanted to make sure that my relatives and friends received this before I posted it to my blog. The DSP is call Christmas Cocoa  and this sheet is gorgeous because it's flocked!  I think I will order some more even though Christmas is almost over because I think it would go beautifully as… Read More »

Hi meets Pretty in Pink

Good Morning stampers This card was made for Techno Stamper Challenge TSSC100.  The Hi Embosslit Die (which is on sale until 22 Dec) is the main focal point on this card.  First, I embossed Whisper White card stock using the Hi Embosslit Die and then brayered it with Pretty in Pink Classic Ink.  The raised surfaces picked up the ink to give a shabby chic look.  I used the Finial Press Textured impressions Embossing Folder… Read More »

Snow Swirled

Today's card is for Splitcoast Stampers Friday's LSC249.  The challenge is to create a white Christmas card.  I might have cheated a bit because it called for only white or clear embellishments and I used the gold elastic cord!  Oh well…  Another of my favorite type of cards – quick, clean and simple! I stamped the image  using the Encore Gold and then used the heat tool to hasten the… Read More »

Thanks!

First of all, I want to thank all my customers that placed an order during the Huge Sale this weekend.  I really appreciate your support! Like I said in an earlier post, I must be in a blue mood!  Not the sad kind but the kind where I seem to be making card with blue themes.  Really,  blue is a calming color and with all the hectic pace that the… Read More »
