Stay Sassy and Free Gift of the Month

Today’s cards features the cheeky Stay Sassy Stamp Set!  I paired it with the gorgeous Sunday Adventure Prints. The card was cased from one of the cards found in the Celebrating Life’s Moments Mini Catalog. The girl was colored in using the Bubble Gum, Lemon Grass and Hazelnut Blend inks, Fusion Blender and a Blending Brush.  I used a copic marker for her skin. Goodbye Gone Surfing!

Really, the title should be Surfing USA!  That song runs through my head every time I use this stamp set to make a card.    And, today was no different! I used the Confectionary Days Pan Pastels to color in the background.  I used the blue in the set and used the Gold PanPastel (not part of the set) for the sand since I didn’t have a brown or beige… Read More »

Hearts

Today’s card was made in response to our team weekly sketch challenge. I used the Flannel Life Background Stamp for the hearts.  They were die cut using the Hearts Felt Die Set. I used the Foam Squares to pop the hearts up and then splattered Dark Roast Silk over the card.  The diamonds were colored in using a Sharpie. Goodbye Pocket Pup

Did you know that one of the cutest stamp sets FSJ has to offer is retiring?  It is and I’m so sad because I think it’s adorable! Since I had the Spring Filled Prints out on my table, I decided to add the print to the pocket.  The background is our new Lots of Dots Die from the Celebrating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog. A Better Place

One of the hardest cards for me to make is the sympathy card.  Usually you wait until something happens and then you struggle with making the right one.  Having a supply on hand is a good idea and will save you a lot of stress.  Sending a handmade card gives it that special touch and shows the receiver that you care. For today’s card, I chose the A Better Place… Read More »

Dogwoods

Yes the Dogwoods have started blooming and they are so pretty.  We have a lot of them in the woods around us. I started working on this card last year and put it aside.  In cleaning my craft room this month, I found it and finished it. It’s a digital file (can’t remember where I got it).  I printed it out on Oatmeal Cookie and then colored it using the… Read More »
