Four Feathers Masculine Monday

For today’s card, I’m using the Four Feathers Clear Mount Stamp Set.  I combined that with the Typeset Designer Series Paper.  I did not add a sentiment because I have a lot of “thank you” and “happy birthday” cards and will wait until I actually send it to someone before adding the sentiment.I think the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon add just the right amount of “pop” color – don’t… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Masculine Monday

Today’s card features the Four Features Stamp Set. I was inspired by a card I saw on the Stampin’ Up! blog.  Just changed things up a little to make it more of a masculine card. After inking up the images, I lightly spritzed with water using our Stampin’ Sprizers.  The top and bottom images were stamped directly to the Watercolor Paper but the middle image was stamped on a scrap… Read More »

Walk in the Wild – Masculine Monday – Stampin’ UP!

I really like the idea of committing myself to making masculine cards every Monday.  I now have a supply on hand for when you need a manly card. I didn’t have the Snapshot Wood Mount Stamp so I decided to use the Peachy Keen Stamp Brush Set, Digital Download. The image was printed out on Very Vanilla Card Stock, using the My Digital Studio.  It was then cut out with Paper Snips.  The sentiment is from the Hip Notes… Read More »

Masculine Monday – King of the Grill

Today’s card is for my son-in-law, David’s birthday,  who loves to grill.  Did I ever tell you that there used to be five Davids in our immediate family?  My hubby, his son, my son-in-law, his father and last, my grandson, David Ray Bradford III!I am sure glad that Stampin’ Up! made the King of the Grill available as a digital download because it’s always been a favorite.  I printed it… Read More »

Masculine Monday – World Map

Do you run into brick walls when trying to create masculine cards? I do.  I find that my stamps, paper and accessories come from what I like, and I like bling, pearls,  lace and the subtle colors …not the best combo for a guy. So I turned to Pinterest and found this awesome card that I cased.  It did not identify the creater so I can’t give them credit.   Usually… Read More »

Happy Birthday Tom – Masculine Monday

I try to personalize my cards as much as possible especially if it’s to a favorite relative.  In this case, the card is for my nephew, Tom and I found a digital image that sooooo cute! And he’s a man (40’s I think) but I thought the kid’s digital image was so much more cuter than an adult image would have been.  I also don’t know what color/level he’s at so… Read More »
