Bright Side

This card is for my husband, David who when he comes back from his trip would have been gone 3 weeks!  I’m using The Bright Side Stamp Set from the new Inspiration Book & Catalog for 2018/2-19. I got the lines in the card by running the bottom half of the Whip Cream Card Stock through the die cut machine using the Barn Wall Embossing Folder.  It looks like waves… Read More »

Goodbye Let’s Ride

It’s time to say goodbye to another favorite called the Let’s Ride ATS Stamp.  They don’t have a motorcycle stamp in the new catalog so I may keep it instead of selling it. This card is for a friend who loved to ride but has since given it up.  I thought it would bring a smile to his face because I’ve also included the word “Route 66” on the front… Read More »

Stay Wild

My team mate, Barbara Miller, and I challenge each other once a month to use a certain stamp set.  We alternate picking the stamp set and/or colors.  This month is was just the stamp set called Stay Wild. Though I used watercolor inks, I was able to use the Butter Cream Card Stock because I didn’t saturate the panel too much.  The mountains were made combining Dark Roast Silk and… Read More »

Goodbye Gone Surfing!

Really, the title should be Surfing USA!  That song runs through my head every time I use this stamp set to make a card.    And, today was no different! I used the Confectionary Days Pan Pastels to color in the background.  I used the blue in the set and used the Gold PanPastel (not part of the set) for the sand since I didn’t have a brown or beige… Read More »

Goodbye Let’s Ride

Using the smallest circle, I die cut the circle using post it note.  I then put the negative image (post it note) on the upper left side and sponged in with Summer Days Ink.  I then… Read More »
