Happy Mother’s Day

This card is for my youngest daughter.  As you can see by the previous card (which I made a couple of days ago), the two girls are complete opposites. I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day and hope everyone enjoys this day.  We plan to go out for brunch to Copeland's. I received this from my friend Jane and thought I would share it with you: Mothers Real mothers… Read More »

Card for my daughter

Today's post includes a Mother's Day card I made for my daughter Deena who lives in California.  One of the bad things about living so far apart is that I don't get to spend very many holidays with her and her family. No stamping on this card – not even for the sentiment!  One of the things I like about computer generated sentiments is that you can personalize it as… Read More »

Hoppy Easter

I'm having too much fun creating Easter Cards this year!  I keep seeing such neat ones in the different blogs I visited on a daily basis.  In fact, I think I spend too much time surfing my favorite blogs (KWIM?).  This card was inspired by one that Leslie Miller (Running with Scissors) did for Flourishes Stamps. The color that looks like Cameo Coral is really Regal Rose.  I tried adjusting the… Read More »

Decorating Eggs

Isn't that stamp image so cute!  I just love the expressions on the rabbits and chick's faces!  It's called Decorating Eggs and is from Victoria Case Art Designs.  The image was stamped in black using Versafine Black Onyx on watercolor paper (Arches Hot Pressed 140lb).  That my favorite for watercoloring because it is so smooth. I stamped it again on scratch paper to mask the main image so that I could lightly sponge… Read More »

Merry Christmas

I hope you don't get tired of Christmas cards.  I will be making them throughout the year.  I belong to the Stamping Christmas All Year Long Divas and we make a card once a week (we have a hard taskmaster (LOL)!  Seriously, it's one way to stay on top of all the Christmas cards I make every season (or least try and make!).  Check out their site to see what the other… Read More »
