Masculine Monday – Happy Birthday Gary

Today’s card features a fun-fold card. I saw a card like this on Pinterest but could not find any instructions on how to make it. So it was a lot of hit & miss for me in finally coming up with a template that worked! I’m also bringing back Masculine Mondays. I have a lot of masculine birthdays in the next several months so having Masculine Mondays will help me… Read More »

Snow Front – Happy Birthday Dylan

Today’s card features the Snow Front Stamp Set. You can create tranquil scenes with this set, whether it’s evergreens with dainty deer or playful cardinals in a winter forest. Since Dylan’s birthday falls on the in February, I thought a winter scene was very appropriate. The mountains, deer and sentiment were stamped with So Suede Ink. The trees were stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink. The sentiment is from Rustic Retreat… Read More »

Berry Delightful

Today’s card features the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. If you know me then you know that I usually don’t make fruit or vegetable cards – usually! Well, I’ve fallen in love with the Berry Blessings Bundle which includes the stamp set and designer series paper. I saw a cute, cute curvy box on Facebook and decided to case it. Then I made a card to go with it. Thanks… Read More »

Beautiful Friendship

The Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set! is gorgeous and one of my favorites!!! I love that you can create a professional watercolor look with the beautiful images! When the stamp set does not include a coordinating designer series paper, you create your own as I did on the background and flap of the envelope. This was done by stamping the large floral image with Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock and the… Read More »

Forever Blossoms

The gorgeous detailed floral images in the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set can be used to make greeting cards for any occasion. Today’s card is a birthday card for a special friend using that stamp set. The background is from the retired Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the greeting is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set. I used the Layering Ovals Dies to make the template for… Read More »

Happy Birthday Sydney

Today’s card is for my granddaughter, Sydney, who is at college in California. They grow up so fast! I’m using a non-SU stamp set but the card stock and inks are Stampin’ Up!. My two oldest granddaughters are in their early 20’s and love the Angie’s Girls stamps from another company. Thanks for stopping by today – have a great rest of the week. Colors Used To Make This Card… Read More »

Happy Birthday Stephanie

Stamp Happy Birthday with Black Tuxedo Ink and die cut… Read More »

Happy Birthday David!

Today’s card features a card for my grandson David’s birthday. He is turning 21 years old! It’s not an SU image but I did use SU products on it. For my close relatives I always try and use an image that means something to them. If SU doesn’t carry something I can use, I find it elsewhere. In this case, David’s first car was Navy Blue Mustang. He totaled it… Read More »

Happy Birthday Troy

Today’s card is for my grandson, Troy. He is not a sailor but Ventura is right at the ocean in California so I thought the sailor theme would be appropriate. When they are young (over 18 but under 30), you just don’t know what they really like! I used the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper for the banner and background panel. The banner was generated using the retired Thank… Read More »

Happy Birthday

Another shabby chic birthday card for you. For this card, I’m way ahead since this person’s birthday isn’t until April. 🙂 The greeting is from the retired Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies. I used the Gold Foil Sheets to make the greeting pop! The flowers are non-SU and I’ve had them in my stash for several years. I added the retired Gold Sequin Trim for a little bling. Thank you for… Read More »
