Happy Birthday Cissy

Felicia is at the age where she want me to call her Felicia instead of Cissy.  But I slip now and then!  This is her at this year’s Mother’s Day Brunch. She collects owls so I thought I would make her a card using the Owl Punch.  To give the card a feminine look, I used the gorgoeus retiring Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. The greeting was made using Word… Read More »

Saying Good Bye to Swallowtail

Don’t forget May 22 is the last day Stampin’ Up! will manufacture our rubber stamps so when a stamp set sells out, it is gone!  If there are any stamp sets on your wish list, you need to get them now before they are gone. The Swallowtail Stamp has always been a favorite and I am sorry to see it go. I made this card for my daughter, Stephanie, because… Read More »

The Wilderness Awaits

This card is for my husband’s  birthday.  I chose The Wilderness Awaits Stamp Set because he loves the outdoors.   He turned 81 years old and he still hikes, kayaks, sails and plays golf.  So I guess I should say he’s 81 years young! The image was stamped onto Watercolor Paper with Jet Black Stazon Ink and then colored in with an Aqua Painter and Crazy Cajun, Soft Suede for the… Read More »

Happy Birthday Gary

Today’s card is for my son-in-law, Gary.  He’s a bicyclist and I thought he would enjoy the vintage image. I know that it isn’t a Stampin’Up! image but I know he will enjoy receiving this card.  I also used the pattern paper called Authentique Suave Collection which is not a Stampin’ Up! paper. The digital image is a free one I found on the internet and was printed out using… Read More »
