Number of Years equals Two!

That’s how old my great-grandson Ollie is and OMG – I completely forgot his birthday!😟 🎂 🎁 🎉 🎊 Since I didn’t have any stamp sets for small children, I decided to use the retired Number of Years Stamp Set and Large Numbers Dies. I need to stock up on stamp sets for young children – that seems to be the only category that I don’t have. Do any of… Read More »

Nature’s Harvest – a Fun Card to Make

Fun with the Nature’s Harvest Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I used to think cone flowers came in only pink but I’ve learned since that they come in yellow, pink and purple. For today’s card, I’m making it yellow cone flowers because it reminds me of fall. I paired it with Cajun Craze and So Succulent, two of my favorite colors for Autumn. Card Measurements: Base card: Soft Succulent Cardstock 8… Read More »

Pretty Pumpkins in Blue

For today’s card, I decided to create a card using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle. The stamp set features pumpkins, vines, and leaves images that are designed to be stamped and layered. The vines are mirror images so you can stamp a long or short line of pumpkins and bookend them with the vines.  The die set includes open dies for solid pumpkins and textured and intricate pumpkins. What I did:… Read More »

Happy Anniversary with the Floral Heart Die

When you first see the beautiful Floral Heart Die, you may think it’s it for only Valentines, but it really can be used for so much more such as birthday, sympathy and thinking of you cards. It’s Fall, Y’all

For many of us, the crisp air and changing colors of the leaves in fall represent a new beginning. To me, it means sweater weather (love to wear sweaters, jeans and boots), fireplace nights, comfort food (soups, stews, hot cocoa), and especially pumpkin pie! And for my husband, it means – FOOTBALL!!! 🏈 The flowers is from the Positive Thinking Stamp Set. The leaves are from the Forever Fern, Daisy… Read More »

Happy Birthday Sydney

Today’s card is a digital image that I am using for my beautiful granddaughter’s birthday. She is big fan of Starbucks so I added their logo to the cup and enclosed a Starbucks’ gift certificate. For the background, I used one of the sheets from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper. I love the muted color of the Soft Succulent sheet of DSP. Colors used: Soft Succulent for the dress… Read More »
