Apothecary Art

I saw this card on Facebook and fell instantly in love with it.  I changed it slightly but the original was made by Michelle Last (UK demo).  I think it’s so soothing and calming.  The Apothecary Art Stamp Set is one that I have not used in a long time and had forgotten how beautiful it is.   If you noticed the pearls, they reflect the darker color (Island Indigo) and… Read More »

Petite Petals

I love the six gorgeous designs  for this flower in the Petite Petals Stamp Set!  And it coordinates with the Petite Petal Punch so there’s no cutting around the edges so carefully with our paper snips.  It goes like this:  (1) Stamp, (2) Punch – it’s that easy!  The hard part is arranging them in a pleasing design.  Also, you save 15% if you buy both the stamp set and… Read More »

Did you ever think of combining a masculine background with a frilly flower?

The description for the Hardwood Background Stamp reads:  “The Hardwood Background Stamp creates a realistic wood background for cards, scrapbook pages, and more!”  And the description for the Everything Eleanor reads:  “Delicate floral embellishments, frames, and flourishes–the perfect mix for your projects with vintage flair”.   You think you could not mix the two together, but you can! I paired the masculine background stamp with the frilly flowers in Everything… Read More »

Trendy – Gold and Fabulous 50!

Gleaming, glittering, and totally glamorous, the color gold adds sparkle to any card.  I am using  this color as a focal point for one of the cards the ladies will be making at the big shot class on Friday, 21 February 2014. I used the Gold Foil Designer Vellum Sheet as a background.  The flower was mad using our new Spiral Flower Die and coffee filters.  The Brad is from… Read More »
