Valentine Pals

Have you seen this adorable stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey?  It is sooo stinky cute!  It’s called Valentine Pals and I paired it with the Through the Year Print Pack.  There is a coordinating Die Set which I did not use for today’s post. The image was stamped with Black Licorice Ink and colored in using Copic markers. The heart sequins are from a package that I’ve had for… Read More »

Decorative Hearts

Today’s post features Abandon Coral (yes it’s the ink that is featured) from Simon Says Stamp.  Did you know that Living Coral, a bright coral shade, is Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year? I thought that Abandon Coral came pretty close to that color!  What do you think? Did I come close?   I sponged a piece of Whip Cream Card Stock (3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) with a sponge… Read More »

The Sweetest Song

Today’s card is one of the hardest to make.  It is a sympathy card for a dear friend.  The stamp set is called The Sweetest Song by Penny Black and available at Amazon . I colored the image with watercolor markers and then lightly spritzed it.  That created the watercolor look. The greeting was stamped with Black Licorice Ink.  The front panel was adhered to the base card with our… Read More »

Graceful Designs

Today’s card is a Victorian Christmas card.  I used the Graceful Designs Dies by Spellbinders. The pattern paper is from Stamp Simply.  It’s called A Victorian Christmas by Frank Garcia.  Unfortunately it is not longer available. Love how the Graceful Designs Dies go with the pattern paper.  The greeting is computer generated because I didn’t have greeting that went with the pattern paper. Have a great day and come back… Read More »

XOXO Card

Today’s card is a quick and simple card.  I was inspired by one from the Follow Your Heart mini catalog. I like the idea of the small rose die from Sizzix.  With this die I can make my roses any color I want.  The letters are from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Alphabet Etched Dies.  The background was embossed using the Love Stripes Embossing Folder. I bought a  roll of leaves from… Read More »

Small Things

Today’s card features the Small Things Stamp Set from Fun Stampers Journey.  It’s for my daughter, Stephanie, who is graduating from college.  She loves butterflies and the color purple. I had the idea in my head on what I wanted it to look like but after about 3 tries, I finally got it!  I kept adding colors such a blue or a green and it just didn’t look right so… Read More »

Happy Holiday Ornaments

I decided to do something different for today’s card.  I am using non-traditional colors for the Happy Holiday Ornaments Stamp Set & Die from Spellbinders.  The card was cased from the Spellbinders website. I didn’t have a solid Gold Washi Tape so I used Brushed Gold card stock instead.  I’d like to buy some solid gold washi tape.  Do you know where I could buy some?  The ornament was colored… Read More »
