Blended Bloom Nov 2014 Stampin’ Up!

Today’s card features the Blended Bloom and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.   The Blended Bloom is perfect for coloring with the blendabilities.  I’ve included a Stampin’ Up! video on some simple tricks to using our blendabilities. Because the card doesn’t lay flat, I added a band that slips off and on really easy.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.  It was punched out using the Modern… Read More »

Seasonally Scattered – Stampin’ Up!

How long do you think it would take you to make this card?  Once I had the card stock selected, it took me under ten minutes! I used the Seasonally Scattered Clear Mount Stamp Set to make this quick and easy card.  First thing I did was to color in the rhinestones using the darkest marker from the Wisteria Wonder Assortment Blendabilities – then set them aside to dry. I… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Swallowtail

Today’s card is a 50th Wedding Anniversary card for my cousin Rosie and her husband Rudy.  The sentiment was created using the My Digital Studio and then die cut using the Ovals Collection Framelits. The butterfly was stamped on Naturals White Card Stock with versamark.  I added Silver Emboss Powder to the center of the butterfly and Gold Emboss Powder to the wings.  I then set it with the Heat… Read More »

Simple Sunday I Heart You

Thought I’d get away from Halloween, Fall and Christmas Card and make a Valentine’s Card.  This was such a quick and simple card (under 10 minutes) but I like the way it turned out!  What do you think? I used the retired Color Spritzer Tool (one of my favorite tools) to add a little color to the background.  If you don’t have one, you can also use the splatter image… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! For All Things

I absolutely love the For All Things Set Set.  It definitely is a great stamp set to use in creating fall themed cards but it can be used for all occasions also. I cased this card from one of the Stampin’ Up! Artisans (2014) but I can’t remember her name and I accidentally came across this card while searching for something else.   I could not go back and find the… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! In This Together

To stop shopping is to stop breathing!  That the sentiment for this image from the In This Together Clear Mount Stamp Set.  And I have to admit that I am a bit of a shopaholic. I bought a thinlit die that matches the stamp set from Dies by Dave.   This is so cool and I hope he continues to make more dies for our stamp sets.  He is not affiliated… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Love & Sympathy

Today’s card features the Love & Sympathy Clear Mount Stamp set.I wanted a watercolor effect so I colored the flower image with Old Olive for the leaves and stems and Rich Razzleberry for the flower.  I then lightly spritzed it with the Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water) and then stamped the image onto Naturals White Card Stock. You think a card like this would take five minutes or so –… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch

Oh the flowers you can make with the Flower Patch Two-Step Photopolymer Stamp Set!  It’s got all the shapes and sizes you’ll want plus great greetings and several stems for endless possibilities. I really didn’t have pattern paper to match the colors I wanted to use for this card so I made my own!  Using a Sponge Dauber, I stamped a random pattern of circles using the Blushing Bride Classic… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Bloom with Hope

I cased this from the Annual Catalog (page 240).  I just changed it up a little to make it my own.  I used Elegant Eggplant Card Stock instead of Crumb Cake Card stock and changed a couple of the dies used on the card.  I also added gold sequins from the Sequin Trim Ribbon. This set is perfect for coloring with the blendabilities.  For today’s card, I used the Wisteria… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Choose Happiness

Today’s post uses the Choose Happiness Stamp Set and the Notable Ornament Stamp Brush Set. When I first started stamping and making cards, I made vintage, shabby chic type of cards and then somehow I got away from it.  Don’t know why since it’s my favorite type of card!  What is your favorite card to make? I also noticed that Stampin’ Up! is going away from the vintage look and… Read More »
