I Love Lace – Stampin’ Up!

First time I’ve stamped since I got sick and it was very exhausting!  I guess I don’t have all my strength back yet.    I wanted to keep this card quick and simple. It started out to be a one layer card but I thought it looked too plain.  Adding the Cherry Cobbler as the base card gives the card a little pop.To create the one strip of the I Love… Read More »

The more I use this stamp set the more I love it!  I’ve used it for fall cards and for Christmas cards.  Now I’m using it for Valentine cards!  The hearts are from our new Confetti Heart Border Punch that will be available on 6 January 2015 from the Occasions catalog. The image was stamped with Versamark on Whisper White Card Stock.  I then added Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder… Read More »

Don’t forget about these specials: Holiday Extravaganza Win a Big Shot Free Tutorial for Nov orders Weekly Deals This was such a quick and easy card to make and yet it is elegant with the gold accents. Blended Bloom Nov 2014 Stampin’ Up!

Today’s card features the Blended Bloom and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.   The Blended Bloom is perfect for coloring with the blendabilities.  I’ve included a Stampin’ Up! video on some simple tricks to using our blendabilities. Because the card doesn’t lay flat, I added a band that slips off and on really easy.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.  It was punched out using the Modern… Read More »

Seasonally Scattered – Stampin’ Up!

How long do you think it would take you to make this card?  Once I had the card stock selected, it took me under ten minutes! I used the Seasonally Scattered Clear Mount Stamp Set to make this quick and easy card.  First thing I did was to color in the rhinestones using the darkest marker from the Wisteria Wonder Assortment Blendabilities – then set them aside to dry. I… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Swallowtail

Today’s card is a 50th Wedding Anniversary card for my cousin Rosie and her husband Rudy.  The sentiment was created using the My Digital Studio and then die cut using the Ovals Collection Framelits. The butterfly was stamped on Naturals White Card Stock with versamark.  I added Silver Emboss Powder to the center of the butterfly and Gold Emboss Powder to the wings.  I then set it with the Heat… Read More »

Simple Sunday I Heart You

Thought I’d get away from Halloween, Fall and Christmas Card and make a Valentine’s Card.  This was such a quick and simple card (under 10 minutes) but I like the way it turned out!  What do you think? I used the retired Color Spritzer Tool (one of my favorite tools) to add a little color to the background.  If you don’t have one, you can also use the splatter image… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! For All Things

I absolutely love the For All Things Set Set.  It definitely is a great stamp set to use in creating fall themed cards but it can be used for all occasions also. I cased this card from one of the Stampin’ Up! Artisans (2014) but I can’t remember her name and I accidentally came across this card while searching for something else.   I could not go back and find the… Read More »
