Watercolor Wings Fancy Favor Box

Took out the retired Fancy Favor Box Bigz Die and decided to use it to make a gift box to accompany the card I made the other day.   The Designer Buttons, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and Fancy Favor Box Bigz Die are retired and no longer available from Stampin’ Up! I stamped the butterfly image from the Watercolor Wings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pool Party Classic ink onto the tissue… Read More »

Cozy Christmas

I think the figures in the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper are sooooo cute!  For today’s card, I used the sweet little fawn in the DSP. The greeting is from the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set.  I wanted to add a gold trim ribbon but I couldn’t find it!  And then I found it after I took pictures of the card.  Does this happen to you.  Do you lose things… Read More »

Watercolor Wings

Today’s card features the Watercolor Wings Photopolymer Stamp Set.  This is such a beautiful set! I stamped the butterfly with Pool Party Classic Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and die cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I also die cut a piece of  Silver Foil Sheet using the Basic Butterflies Thinlits and layered them together. The greeting is from the Birthday Blossoms Clear Mount Stamp Set.  It was inked… Read More »

Timeless Elegance

The patterns in the Timeless Elegant Designer Series Paper are gorgeous!   I used the one that had the roses on it for today’s card.  Though you can’t see it clearly in the picture, I sponged the roses with Wisteria Wonder Stampin’ Pad and a Sponge Dauber. The sentiment is from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp Set.  It was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and punched out using the  … Read More »

Circle of Spring

The Circle of Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set is a “spring” card but I thought I would use it as a sympathy card.  Thank-goodness I don’t need one right now but I thought I would make it because I wanted a soft, simple card.  There a “happy birthday” sentiment also in the set, so you can use it for that occasion too!  For today’s’ card, I used the sentiment from Teeny… Read More »

Awesomely Artistic – Stampin’ Up!

I should have titled this post “Snakes in the House“.  I don’t know how this snake got into the house and we had a heck of a time trying to catch it.  Of course, my husband was trying to catch while I was just yelling and jumping! (LOL).   Poor thing it was just trying to get out of the heat! Let your awesomely artistic side shine with projects you make… Read More »

A quick and easy card for you today using the Remarkable You Clear Mount Stamp Set. I’ve included directions for this card including card measurements when you print off the recipe below (see after signature). Tip:   I used the retired Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon and colored it using the Hello Honey Stampin’ Write Maker.  But I did not color it all the way because the part that is… Read More »

Silhouettes & Script – Stampin’ Up!

Today’s card features the Silhouettes & Script Stamp Set – since this is a hostess set, the only way to purchase is with a $150 order.  I was looking at Pinterest (I’m always on Pinterest!) and searching or ideas when I cam across a card by Kimberly Van Diepen.  I love her style and decided to case her card.  I changed a couple of things such as colored the Whisper… Read More »
