Love Life Card #2, April Bloom Box

Today’s post features card #2 in the April Bloom Box.  The stamp set is called Love Life and it is simply gorgeous! I pretty much followed the directions in the card instructions but I think I flicked the Bubble Gum Silk a little to hard and made a couple of large splatters.  It’s mainly the splatters on the Journey Vellum that are bothering me.  What do you think? The flowers… Read More »

Love Life – April Bloom Box

This is one of the cards from the April Bloom Box.  The stamp set is called Love Life and it is absolutely gorgeous! I made the card per the instructions in the pamphlet we get with each bloom box except for a couple of things.  You know me – I can’t case a card perfectly – I always have to change something here or there. I stamped the double daisy… Read More »

Spring Botanicals Shaker Card

Today’s card features the Spring Botanicals Bundle.  This is such a beautiful stamp set and what makes it better is that it has a coordinating die!!! I haven’t made a shaker card in a long, long time and it was fun making this one. I used the Bubble Gum Silk for the background.  The silks are on sale this month for 20% off reg price.  It’s a good way to… Read More »

Good Karma #FSJLaunchParty

Today is day 3 of the FSJ Launch Party.  For today’s card, I used the Good Karma Stamp Set from the Creating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog. Ella, the elephant (my name for her) was stamped with River Stone Ink Pad on Whip Cream Card Stock.  I then used the colors, Lemon Drop, Sweet Berry, Pretty Pansy and Green Olive for the flowers and hat/scarf on Ella. I used the Vintage… Read More »

Dogwoods

Yes the Dogwoods have started blooming and they are so pretty.  We have a lot of them in the woods around us. I started working on this card last year and put it aside.  In cleaning my craft room this month, I found it and finished it. It’s a digital file (can’t remember where I got it).  I printed it out on Oatmeal Cookie and then colored it using the… Read More »

Scenic Route

Today’s card features the new Scenic Route ATS Stamp Set from the Celebrating Life’s Moments Mini Catalog. To make the background, I used the Vintage Screen Stencil, Whip Cream Ink Pad and a Dauber Dowel I colored in the flowers using the Journey Burst Pencils.  I also spritzed the background using a Blending Brush and the Pretty Pansy Reinker. Download the Scenic Route Supply List Over the Rainbow Over the… Read More »

Saying good by to Storybook Occasions and Spring Filled Prints

The Storybook Occasions has the cutest animal images in it and it’s retiring on 31 March 2018!  So if you want this stamp set, you need to order it before it’s gone. The Spring Filled Prints (full of gorgeous printed paper) is also retiring this month. I left off the greeting on this card because I’m not sure what I’m going to use it for.  It can either be a… Read More »

The stamp set is called Small Things with some awesome sentiments!  The stamp set has matching dies (yay!) and will be available to purchase as… Read More »

Happy Birthday Deena!

Today’s card features  a vintage/shabby chic birthday card for my lovely daughter, Deena, who lives in California. The main focal point of the card is the Vintage Burst Accesories Collection.  I love the vintage feel  of the accessories. The background was embossed using the Love Letter Embossing Folder (Bloom Benefit with a $100 purchase).    For the next layer, I used the Vintage Notes Background Stamp.  I tore the top and… Read More »
