The first time I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it and I was able to purchase it during the pre-order period for coaches.  The stamp set is called Good Karma.  It will be available for purchase on 1 April 2018. The elephant was stamped with Black Licorice Ink and the hat and scarf colored in with the Journey Burst Pencils.  I used a little bit… Read More »

Saying good by to Storybook Occasions and Spring Filled Prints

The Storybook Occasions has the cutest animal images in it and it’s retiring on 31 March 2018!  So if you want this stamp set, you need to order it before it’s gone. The Spring Filled Prints (full of gorgeous printed paper) is also retiring this month. I left off the greeting on this card because I’m not sure what I’m going to use it for.  It can either be a… Read More »

Happy Birthday Deena!

Today’s card features  a vintage/shabby chic birthday card for my lovely daughter, Deena, who lives in California. The main focal point of the card is the Vintage Burst Accesories Collection.  I love the vintage feel  of the accessories. The background was embossed using the Love Letter Embossing Folder (Bloom Benefit with a $100 purchase).    For the next layer, I used the Vintage Notes Background Stamp.  I tore the top and… Read More »

Love Never Fails

I thought I was done with Valentine cards but I had one more in me!  Today’s card does not feature a stamp set as the main focus.  The only stamp I used was a small one from Love Paris. The “Love” and “never fails” is computer generated.  I stamped an image from Love Paris on the bottom right of the Butter Cream Card Stock heart.  To get a light image,… Read More »

Be Mine

Today’s card features the Be Mine and the Creature Comforts Bundles.  When you order the bundles, you save 10% and who doesn’t like a good deal!  For a list of bundles we offer, click here I thought the racoon holding the heart and leaving it in black, white and red would make a cute and simple card for Valentine’s Day. Although you cannot see the pattern on the heart, I… Read More »

Be Mine

Today’s card features the cute Be Mine Bundle.  One of the things I love about the FSJ bundles is that the stamp set and the die set have the same name.  I don’t have to worry about having to remember the die set name with I’m looking for the coordinated die. The background (Cranberry Bliss Card Stock) was embossed using the I Heart Embossing Folder.  The doily was die cut… Read More »

C’est La Vie

Today’s card features the adorable C’est La Vie ATS Stamp Set.   It’s a card for my husband for both Happy Valentine and Happy Anniversary’s card.  I combined Valentine and Anniversary to form a new word:  Valenversary!  (just me being silly!) The French Bulldog is such a cutie!  I read the Alex Delaware series by Jonathan Kellerman and they own a French Bulldog in the series. The dog image was stamped… Read More »

Be Mine

Finally got to use my Gel Press with acrylic Paints!  For today’s card I used the Be Mine Stamp Set. One of the things I like about Fun Stampers Journey is the ability to make your own backgrounds using various media. I experimented with the acrylic paints and they are so cool to use!  Instructions on how to make this background are contained in the supply list below. Download: Be… Read More »

Beary Best Valentine

The bear in the Beary Best Stamp Set is soooo cute and you can use it for so many occasions.  I’ve used it for a Happy Birthday, Christmas and now a Valentine card. The greeting is from the Be Mine Valentine Stamp Set.   Do you send out any valentine’s day cards?  If so, how many?  I make several but only give one to my husband.  I haven’t decided on… Read More »
