Christmas Owl

Today’s post features the Christmas Owl Stamp Set from Spellbinders.  This card is for my granddaughter, Felicia, who loves and collects owls. I used the Color Splash Watercolor Pencils to color in the images.   I applied  the colors using one of our Blending Brushes.  I also added Journey Glaze to the ornaments to make them shine. I also applied the Marvy Snow Marker Pen from Simon Says to the… Read More »

Old Fashion Christmas

I’m cleaning my craft room and came across some Christmas Paper which is several years old.  In fact, I think I only used one or two pieces from the paper pad so there was a lot of it.  It’s my featured item for today’s post.  The paper is called A Victorian Christmas and was made by the Prima Company.   The greeting is from the Holiday Sentiments Dies by Spellbinders. … Read More »

Christmas Wreath

Today’s card features the Harvest Wreath Stamp Set.  I turned it into a old fashion Christmas Wreath. The wreath is from the Harvest Wreath Stamp Set.  It was stamped with Dark Roast Ink onto Cookie Oatmeal Card Stock.  The background was created using the Barnwall Embossing Folder. I colored the Rhinestones with a red sharpie and then attached them to the wreath with our Journey Craft Glue. Have a great… Read More »

DIY Hoops

Today’s card features the DIY Hoops from the FSJ Holiday Journey Catalog. When I first started to decorate it using the Winter Scene Stamp Set, I was going to attach it to a base card.  Then I thought that it would make a cute Christmas ornament so I went with that. It’s also a shaker card (I mean shaker ornament) thought you can’t tell it in the photograph.  Thank goodness,… Read More »
