Monster Mash

Hi Stampin' Friends When I saw this card by Connie Babbert on SUDSOL, I had to copy it!  Well, not exactly copy but I was very inspired by it and made my version of the card. And I have the perfect song to accompany it.  It's Monster Mash from the 60's and I can still see my friends dancing to it at parties.  Download 01 Monster Mash Our Googly Ghouls have… Read More »

Back to School … Cool!

Hi Stampin' Friends It's that time of the year again – back to school!  My granddaughter Rachel started school on 1 August 2012 and my other two grandchildren will start school on 20 August 2012. This card features the loveable, darling Greeting Card Kids Clear Mount Stamp Set.  The cutesy images in this set seem to jump right off the pages of vintage storybooks. You can recreate the mood of… Read More »

Extreme Elements

Hi Stampin' Friends I'm so glad that Extreme Elements is available in digital format because it retired this year and I like to use it for grandsons who are teenagers.  They are so hard to make cards for.  The digital image was printed out on Very Vanilla Card Stock using My Digital Studio.  The "splash" is More Mustard (opticity was reduced to 50%) and the sentiment and stars are Island… Read More »

Extreme Skateboard

Hi Stampers I was working on a birthday card in the shabby chic style when I came to a complete stand still.  I did not have my Heat Tool to scrunch the ribbon because I had lent it out to my BFF.  Has this ever happened to you?  You get to a certain place on your card and you can't get any farther along? I'll be getting it back tomorrow… Read More »

Greeting Card Kids – Valentine

Hi Stampers For today's card, I'm using the Greeting Card Kids Clear Mount Stamp Set.  The cutesy images in this set seem to jump right off the pages of vintage storybooks – this image makes for a sweet vintage valentine card.  I paired it with the Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper.  As part of the Timeless Portrait Suite, the paper coordinates with designer fabric, ribbon, and three stamp sets (Pendant… Read More »

Rachel Sweet Valentine & FSOTM Winner!

Hi Stampers I decided to play today with My Digital Studio.  I purchased the Sweetest Ever Valentine's Designer Template last week when it was released by Stampin' UP!.  When I was looking for it on the My Digial Studio, I came across a template that was perfect to convert to a Valentine's Day scrapbook page.  I don't remember purchasing it but it might have been as part of a package.  … Read More »

Greeting Card Kids

Hi Stampers! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Today's card features the cutesy image of the little girl pulling a sled from the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set.  I love the vintage look of all the images in this stamp set especially the little girl holding the heart. They remind me of the coloring books I use to color in when I was a wee slip of a girl! (LOL).  In… Read More »

Hi Stampers I've been playing around with the My Digital Studio again.  I love this product and am amazed at all it can do.  Everytime the new digital releases come out on Tuesday, I usually buy at least one digital download and start playing with it.     For this card, I wanted to make it look shabby chic so I used the Hello Doily Stamp Brush Set, the Chateau Bella Stamp… Read More »
