Vintage Leaves

Have you noticed the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalog?  It is simply gorgeous!  I used it to send a Happy Anniversary card to my daughter and son-in-law since their anniversary is on 8 October 2015.  The greeting is from the Timeless Love Stamp Set. The line around the card was drawn free hand using the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.  The leaf was stamped with Pool Party… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Swallowtail

Today’s card is a 50th Wedding Anniversary card for my cousin Rosie and her husband Rudy.  The sentiment was created using the My Digital Studio and then die cut using the Ovals Collection Framelits. The butterfly was stamped on Naturals White Card Stock with versamark.  I added Silver Emboss Powder to the center of the butterfly and Gold Emboss Powder to the wings.  I then set it with the Heat… Read More »

Happy Anniversary Stef & David

This card is a little late – Stephanie and David’s anniversary was on 2 June 2014!  But better late than never – right?  I used the Everything Eleanor Clear Mount Stamp Set – love this set – it’s so elegant and classy! I stamped the images with Versamark, then heat embossed them using the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and our Heat Tool.   I then used the brayer and and… Read More »

How to make an Elegant yet Simple Card

How was you Christmas?  Are you glad it’s over?   We went to my daughter Stephanie’s house for the day.   Her husband is a chef and he made Christmas dinner.  Was it ever delicious!  We had Tamales (yes, he makes tamales!), Prime Rib with Béarnaise Sauce, Squash/Asparagus Veggies, Cranberry with oranges, sweet potato casserole, spiced peaches (home made, not store bought) and Banana Meringue Pie and Silk Chocolate Pie (also home made).   I think he’s just… Read More »

Happy Anniversary Bradfords

Hi Stampin’ Friends I didn’t have time to do much stamping today because I was playing Grandma!  I took my granddaughter, Felicia, out to lunch for her 13th birthday.  See the card I made her here.  We then went shopping (girls love to shop!).  Then when I left her off, I picked up my grandson, David, and we went to see the movie “After Earth” with Will Smith.  It was… Read More »

Love

Hi Stampin' Friends A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that we were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary.  In going through some pictures for another project, I came across a picture that was taken during the wedding.  I guess it's one that didn't make it into the album. We were married on 14 February 1993 at the Loveland Ski area near Denver.  We are wearing ski clothes (even the minister!)… Read More »

Feeling Sentimental

Hi Stampin' Friends The Feeling Sentimental Clear Mount Stamp Set is one of my favorite sets from the Sale-a-bration Catalog.   I love the vintage look of this set.   I cased this from a card I found on Pinterest but I can't remember whose it was and it didn't have a watermark on it.  I changed a couple of items to make it my own, i.e., different embossing folder, etc. The… Read More »

Happy 50th Anniversary!

Hi Stampin' Friends Today's card is for a very dear friend, Diana, that I've known since high school.  The card is for her and Wayne's 50th wedding anniversary. I decided to break open the Artisan Embellishment Kit from the spring Catalog and use the abolutely gorgeous lace that's in it.  It's the most beautiful lace that Stampin' Up! has every offered (that I know of) and I absolutely, unconditionally, categorically, totally, love it! I also… Read More »
