Banner Blessings Stampin’ Up!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Hope you have an enjoyable day and not eat too much at the dinner table.  My husband is cooking the turkey so all I have to do is enjoy it!  I am thankful for my husband, kids and grandchildren.  I am thankful for my family and friends.  We all have family; family we are born with, and family that we create for ourselves. We have people in… Read More »

Seasonally Scattered – Stampin’ Up!

How long do you think it would take you to make this card?  Once I had the card stock selected, it took me under ten minutes! I used the Seasonally Scattered Clear Mount Stamp Set to make this quick and easy card.  First thing I did was to color in the rhinestones using the darkest marker from the Wisteria Wonder Assortment Blendabilities – then set them aside to dry. I… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Pleasant Poppies

Today’s card features the Pleasant Poppies Stamp Set. I love the rich color you can get using the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Assortment.  The stems were colored in using the Old Olive Blendabilities Assortment.  I did a little sponging on the top with Soft Sky Ink and Pear Pizzazz for the bottom of the card. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.  It was stamped with the Tuxedo Black… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! For All Things Gift Box

This gift box accompanies the card I posted on Wednesday.  See post here. The box using the Gift Box Punch Board is so quick and easy to make!  Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up! on how to make the gift box. Note:  I’ve heard several people saying they had problems with the notches breaking once they closed the box lids.  I fixed that problem by reinforcing the edges.  I add… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! For All Things

I absolutely love the For All Things Set Set.  It definitely is a great stamp set to use in creating fall themed cards but it can be used for all occasions also. I cased this card from one of the Stampin’ Up! Artisans (2014) but I can’t remember her name and I accidentally came across this card while searching for something else.   I could not go back and find the… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! In This Together

To stop shopping is to stop breathing!  That the sentiment for this image from the In This Together Clear Mount Stamp Set.  And I have to admit that I am a bit of a shopaholic. I bought a thinlit die that matches the stamp set from Dies by Dave.   This is so cool and I hope he continues to make more dies for our stamp sets.  He is not affiliated… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grunge

Today’s card features the Gorgeous Grunge – I must have George Clooney on my mind because I titled this post “Gorgeous George!”.  Anyhoo, it features the Gorgeous Grunge and Choose Happiness Clear Mount Stamps Sets. The chevron punch and music notes were printed out on Whisper White Card Stock using My Digital Studio.  I then added the Tea Lace Paper Doily to the bottom of the Chevron Punch. The splatters… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch

Oh the flowers you can make with the Flower Patch Two-Step Photopolymer Stamp Set!  It’s got all the shapes and sizes you’ll want plus great greetings and several stems for endless possibilities. I really didn’t have pattern paper to match the colors I wanted to use for this card so I made my own!  Using a Sponge Dauber, I stamped a random pattern of circles using the Blushing Bride Classic… Read More »

Stampin’ Up! Regarding Dahlia

This past Saturday, I had a private class at Anna’s house (customer).  She lives in Holiday Island, Arkansas.  It’s a beautiful retirement community north of Eureka Springs, AR. Though the group was small, it was so much fun and the ladies enjoyed themselves.  For me, it is so exciting to show someone who has never stamped how easy it is to make a beautiful handmade card. Because they were beginners,… Read More »

Gift of Love

From the SU Blog – this is such a cute project! ~~ Rachel What can be more special than giving a uniquely packaged gift to someone just because you love them? I used the Gift Card Enclosure Pack not for a gift card but for a gift package to hold a little piece of jewelry for a friend who just needed some encouragement. To create the belly band, cut a 3″… Read More »
