Peace Within

Here's the tutorial for the Top Note Box showcased during the Royal Blog Tour.  I used the pizza box tutorial found on Splitcoast Stampers and tailored it to fit the top note die cut.  The box on the SCS tutorial was 4" x 4" – this box is 5" x 4". Template for Corset

There's a problem with printing my file for the template for the corset.  This is where I found the template Stampington.com .  All you have to do is right click and print.  It will print out to the perfect size

Royal Blog Tour – Featured Set – Peace Within

I am very excited to feature the stamp set Peace Within from the 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  This set will definitely be one of your favorites because it can lend itself to any occasion.  I've purposely left off any type of sentiment so that I can tailor to fit as I need it. This card uses the new In-colors Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo.  The Designer Series… Read More »

Teacher’s Pet

No, I don't think that but I wanted to catch your attention!  I did didn't I???  I made these small gifts for my grandchildren's teachers.  David is in the 4th  grade going into the 5th grade and Felicia is in the 3rd grade going into the 4th grade.  They attend year-round school so they get out later in the month than most schools.  The 19th is their last day. I… Read More »

It’s bikini time!

I found the cutest bikini pattern through a link on the Late Night Stampers forum.  The pattern is from Fran at Night Owl's Studio.   Her pattern included two cards with one being the top of the bikini (with the sentiment A Perfect Pair) and the other one as the bikini bottom (I'm behind you 100%).   I decided to combine them into one card and because I don't have… Read More »

Recently my friend Jane went to California.  Before she left, I told her to try two things while in California.  One was In N Out Burger and the other was See's Candy.  I was going to ask her to bring me back a burger from In N Out, but I didn't think it would last (LOL).  She brought me back the cutest little box (see above) that was filled with… Read More »

An Egg-cellent Easter

I made these holders for my grandchildren, David 10, Felicia 8 and Rachel 2 1/2.  I bet you can guess who will receive which candy holder.  They are like the ones I made for Teacher Appreciation Week.   After making the 1st two candy holders, the next 3 went pretty fast. I didn't really want to give the kids candy (or a lot of candy) so I thought the Hershey bars… Read More »

Teacher Treats

Today's post includes two candyholders I made for my grandchildren to take to their teachers since it is Teacher Appreciation Week.  I cannot remember where I got the template for this box, but it was about a week ago.  Sorry I cannot give credit to the original owner.  I had to modify the box (made it larger) because the candy I bought (Hershey Bars) did not fit into the original box. … Read More »
