Hi Crafty Friends:
I’m absolutely smitten with this nature-inspired birthday card featuring the gorgeous Branching Out Bundle! When I first saw those delicate pine needles and branches, I knew they’d create something truly special. I love how versatile this stamp set is – it’s perfect for masculine cards, nature lovers, or anyone who appreciates the simple beauty of pine branches. Let me walk you through how I created this layered cardd that’s sure to make someone’s birthday extra special.

To create the focal point, I stamped the branches and pinecones using Pecan Pie ink, then added the pine needles with Garden Green ink. For that perfect organic touch, I splattered additional Pecan Pie ink across the front panel by gently brushing the tip of the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Marker against the inside of its cap.
For the textured background, I stamped the Lasting Linen Stamp Set onto Basic White cardstock using Pecan Pie ink. I then layered this onto Pecan Pie cardstock, leaving a crisp 1/8″ border before mounting everything to my Basic White card base.

Next, I die cut the main panel using the coordinating die from the Textured Notes Dies set and attached it to the Pecan Pie card base with another 1/8″ border for perfect framing.
The “Happiest Birthday Wishes” sentiment comes right from the Branching Out stamp set. I stamped it in Pecan Pie ink, then die cut it using the coordinating die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. To give it dimension, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the finishing touches, I added three Earth Tones Shimmer Gems to echo the natural sparkle you’d find on real pine needles.

I carried the design inside the card by stamping more branches and pinecones in Pecan Pie with Garden Green pine needles. I even repeated this design on the envelope front to create a cohesive, polished look that ties everything together beautifully.
