Boughs of Holly DSP and Bouquet of Love for an unusual Christmas Card

Good Morning Crafters

Thanksgiving is this week – are you ready for it? And the last Last Chance List is out. I will be posting all the information on my blog tomorrow so stay tuned. Some items will be up to 60% off!

Now for today’s card. I wanted to make a different type of Christmas Card for my favorite sister. She is divorced and I wanted to make a card that spoke only to her. I decided to use the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder & Die and combined it with the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper.

I was so excited when I received the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder. This is the third Hyrbid Embossing Folder that Stampin’ Up! has offered and I’m still so amazed that it cuts and embosses as the same time! I love the flexibility the embossing folder and dies offers.

I combined it with the Boughs of Holly 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. These beautiful papers embrace the classic emerald green and rich reds we love to see at Christmastime with poinsettia, holly, and evergreen motifs.

It also includes a more neutral birch tree bark pattern, soft polka dots, and abstract swatches of classic seasonal colors. You can also cut out images for quick textured and detailed layering pieces.

I added a strip of the DSP to the inside and to the envelope flap.

If you need any stamping supplies or products to make this card, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator. Just click on the images below or the Online store to the right side of the screen. This will take you directly to my store. Or you can drop me an e-mail (rachelbrumley@cox.net) if you want me to place your order or if you have any questions.
