There is story behind today’s card!
When I was looking for seeds to plant flowers (like the ones across the street from our house – see picture above) around our mailbox, I thought I had picked up the seed packet for Black Eye Susans.
I inadvertently picked up the Sunflower Seed Packet. My husband planted them thinking I wanted Sunflowers. Didn’t realize I had the wrong ones until they started to bloom and now I’m stuck with them because he won’t take them out until they finished blooming. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sunflowers but not around my mail box!
Decided to console myself with this card. I don’t know if the image in the Bloom With Hope stamp Set is a Daisy or Black Eye Susan but I tried to make it look like one.
This card was cased from one I found on Pinterest (love that Pinterest) made by Mary Brown. Did change things a little bit like different DSP and Washi Tape.
The flowers were colored in using the Daffodil Delight Assortment Blendabilities and the Old Olive Assortment Blendabilities. The middle of the flower is colored in using the Skin Tone Assortment Blendabilities. I love coloring with these blendabilities but I may have to start using my markers because they are feeling left out (LOL)!.
The Washi Tape is from the Beach House Designer Washi Tape Kit and the pattern paper is from the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper.
