Blog Hop – Cards for Hero’s

By | August 13, 2009

Today's post includes a card for our troops – our hero's.  Cards for Hero's is holding a mini blog hop starting on 15 August 2009.

Holiday-Lineup

I don't know if you can see it but I tried to create the effect of snow on the snowmen.  After I colored in the images and it was dry, I stamped all over using the Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Whisper White Craft Ink.  I then used the White Emboss Powder and heat set it.  IRL it does look like it's snowing.  The snowflake and white brads were first coated with 2 way glue then covered with glitter.  Again, that did not show on the picture.

If anyone is thinking about sending Holidays cards for the website  Cards for Hero's, the deadline for submission to the site is 1 November.  I know that we all have cards laying around from all the different classes we have taught throughout the year  but if you don't have Christmas cards perhaps you have all occasion cards and if you do and don't know what to do with them, send them to Cards for Hero's. Those are accepted any time of the year.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you take the opportunity to visit the Cards for Hero's Blog Hop.  It starts on 15 August 2009 so check back here at my blog then or go directly to the Cards for Hero's site.
