For today's card, I decided to use the Blissful Bridge stamp Set from the new Summer Mini Catalog. When I first saw it I knew that I would buy it even though I don't know anyone who is getting married any time soon. I love this set – it is so simple yet elegant.
I decided to use the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die to determine the card size. The 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" was the perfect side for the bride dress image.
- I fed Whisper White card stock (5" x 5") through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square Bigz Die.
- I then stamped the dress image with Basic Black Classic Ink and colored it in every so lightly with an aqua painter using Bashful Blue Classic Ink Pad.
- I colored in the flowers on the dress with the Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker. I then added Towbow Multi Purpose Adhesive to the flower and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the flower.
- Next, I stamped the sentiment "Something Old, something new….." with Bashful Blue Classic Ink on the inside of the card. I added a small flower made with the Trio Flower Punch. To the flower, I again added Towbow Adhesive and Dazzling Diamonds.
