Here’s a card using the Banner Blessings – I love this stamp set! I made a “thank you” card on Wednesday using this same stamp set. Click here if you haven’t seen it.
I decided to make a shabby chic type of card because of the pattern paper. I was in Hobby Lobby shopping for some Christmas decorations and I wandered over to the scrapbooking section and was looking at the pattern paper. I saw this right away and knew I had to buy it. I’ve always loved shabby chic/vintage, and this one just spoke to me. I wish Stampin’ Up! would carry this type of paper – I know that they have in the past – just not often enough for me.
The pattern paper was sewn to the Baked Brown Sugar card stock and then adhered to the Rose Red Card Stock. The mini roses were made using Rose Red Card Stock and Very Vanilla Card Stock. The Very Vanilla rose was sponged on the ends using the Stampin’ Sponges and Rose Red Classic Ink.
The sentiment from the Banner Blessings Stamp Set was ink with Rose Red and stamped on Very Vanilla Card stock. I used a non-SU die for the frame. I think it’s called Romantic Rectangles.
