Baby Blossoms

Hi Stampers

Opener
I never come back from California without some See's Candy!  On this trip I brought back a pound of Chocolate Walnut Fudge for my DH and an Easter Egg for my BFF Jane.  I know at this point several of you are saying but your husband doesn't like sweets!  Well he doesn't, but he does make an exception for See's Candy.

See's-Candy
I made a card to matched the box (well not exactly match) but it was close enough.  The Baby Blossoms Stamp Set is an adorable sweet set with a touch of vintage and I thought it was be perfect to accompany the world's best candy!

The flower image was stamped in Blushing Bride and then stamped again twice without reinking.  I then masked the flowers and stamped the leaf image with Pear Pizzazz.  The frame is stamped with Pear Pizzazz and then cut out using Paper Snips.  The small sharp thin blades are perfect for going around all the curves and sharp points of the frame.

The pattern paper is from the In-Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  I used an "old" Martha Stewart border punch for the Pear Pizza strip of DSP because my SU Eyelet Border Punch was on it's way back from California to Arkansas.  An Antique Brad was added to the Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon to complete the vintage look.

Thanks for stopping by today!

~~Rachel

OK Rachel, tell the truth, is the fudge really for you?!?!?

Your card is perfect for the Easter Egg. So pretty and spring-like.

Ha, haOkay, I must admit – ½ was vanilla fudge (my favorite) and ½ was regular fudge (for David!).
