Baby Bear for Ollie

By | September 28, 2020

The retired Baby Bear stamp set is a “3-Step” which means it’s designed to stamp over another stamped image and the result looks nearly photographic. The clear photopolymer stamps allow you to see right where you want to stamp

I stamped the bear with Night of Navy. I used the Rectangle Stitched Frames and modified it so that it was a square instead a rectangle. The sentiment and the #one (from the Number of Years stamp set) were also stamped with Night of Navy.

The #1 was die cut using the retired Large Numbers Framelits Dies. I also splattered Night of Navy with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker and the retired Color Tool Spritzer. I was going to use Night of Navy card stock for the layers under the pattern paper and the main image but realized I was out of that card stock! So I substituted a sheet from the retired Come Sail Away DSP and I think it looks pretty good.

I’m making a baby quilt for my great-grandson, Ollie, and scanned a piece of the fabric to create a background for the birthday card. I also added it to the flap on the envelope.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.  Just click on the Order Stampin’ Up! Online Now button on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store or drop me an email at rachelbrumley@cox.net  if you have any questions.  Happy Stamping!

Thank you for stopping by today and have a great week!
