Today’s card features a retired stamp set called Apple Harvest and was made for a dear friend who loves apples and the apple blossoms. I glued the layers as follows:
- Base Card: Sahara Sand
- Layer 1: Vellum Cardstock
- Front Panel: Basic White Cardstock
- Circle: Vellum Cardstock
The front panel was lightly sponged with a Sponge Dauber and Blushing Bride Ink using a retired stencil from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. After sponging, I embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
I die cut 4 large petals and 4 small petals from Basic White cardstock using the petals dies from the coordinating Apple Blossom Dies. I also cut 8 large leaves and 8 small leaves from Old Olive Cardstock using the leaf dies from the same set of dies. I then sponged each center of the petals with a Sponge Dauber and Blushing Bride Ink. Blossoms and leaves were attached with mini glue dots. I finished off the card using rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit.
