Good morning crafters!
In our excitement in getting new toys (stamps), we often forget about some equally gorgeous stamp sets that have not been used in a while. So, for today’s project, I decided to bring out one of my favorite stamp sets and pair the, older but still gorgeous, Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set with the new Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.
Because I wanted to keep it gray and yellow, I only used the gray pattern paper from the Sun Prints DSP.
I added vellum to the background to soften the look but in photographing it, the background kind of looks blurry. What do you think?
The main lined image was stamped with Basic Gray Ink, followed by solid floral images with So Saffron Ink and die cut with the coordinating die from the Penned Flowers Dies. I punched out the leaves from Smoky Slate Cardstock and Vellum Cardstock using the Bough Punch.
The Basic White Cardstock Oval was die cut using the retired Layering Ovals Dies. I then embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give it a little interest.
This is the inside of the card and flap of the envelope.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit❤️
i kind of like the blurry background and i really like the color combo!
