Hi Stampin' Friends!
My goodies came in today so I'll have a sneak peak for you tomorrow! Gorgeous stamps and DSP! I wish you could see them in person – they are absolutely gorgeous! Oh did I say that already? Okay, then they are beautiful, stunning, striking, dazzling and magnificant!
My daughter Stephanie's birthday is on 15 May 2012 and I decided to use Tote-Ally Tess for her card because she's not into flowery/shabby chic/vintage or foo-foo! I haven't used this stamp set much but I think I will keep it after it retires. I forgot that it had crafty images on it and think it will be a good stamp set to use for cards for my new reruits. The Tote-Ally Tess Stamp Set will retire on 31 May 2012 as will the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. So if you want to get the stamp set or DSP order it before 31 May 2012. Or in the case of the DSP, before it runs out!
I used the My Digital Studio to print out the sentiment in Calypso Coral. That's one of the things I like about the MDS – you can print out anything you want in any of Stampin' Up!'s color! Also, you can personalize your sentiment as much as you want.
The blouse and pants were paper pieced using the Domestic Goddess DSP. I forgot how much fun it was to paper piece.
The way the pants turned out reminds me of bell bottoms and the flowery images on bell of the pants – am I dating myself or what!
NOTE: When paper piecing anything this tiny such as the blouse, add scotch tape to the back before cutting with scissors. It stablizes the tiny pieces of paper.
Thanks for stopping by today
