Re-create the look of penned drawings with the nature-inspired A Touch of Ink Stamp Set. You can choose from butterflies, hummingbirds, leaves, and more. I’m using this set for the day 2 challenge from our Team Leader, Brian King.
I did a lot of masking with this card to create a one layer card front. And I wanted to keep it real soft so I used the subtle colors.
Card Direction:
Basic White Card Stock (5 1/4″ x 4″).
- Die Cut a circle from the Layering Circles Dies to make the mask. Adhere to the center of the card front with temporary adhesive.
- Stamp the flower (line) image in Seaside Spray Ink on the upper right hand side of the circle. Then stamp it on the lower left hand of the circle.
- Repeat with the solid flower image in Seaside Spray Ink.
- Repeat with the leaves except use Soft Sea Foam Ink.
- Stamp butterfly in Gray Granite. Color in using the Soft Sea Foam and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Write Markers. Use Gray Granite for the body.
- When dry, brush with Wink of Stella Clear.
- Spritz all over with the Seaside Spray and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Marker and the retired Color Spritzer Tool.
- Color in the rhinestones with the Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends and attach to card.
- Punch out corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.
- Attached to card base: Basic White Cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) fold in half.
Thanks for stopping by today – have a great weekend!
