A Jar of Flowers

By | June 8, 2021

For today’s post, I am featuring the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set along with the Forever Fern Stamp Set. I saw this shaker card on YouTube and knew I would be casing it! Though I did change a couple of things to make it my own.

Here’s a short video on the card.

The jar itself was stamped with Basic Gray Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. The stems were stamped also with Basic Gray but I stamped the image off once for a lighter image.

The leaves were stamped with Just Jade, Garden Green and Bermuda Bay Inks on Thick Basic White Cardstock. They were die cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies.

The front panel is Basic White Cardstock embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give it a little interest.

I hope I’m clear with the following directions:

  1. Punch out jar outline with the Jar Punch. Punch towards bottom of card front making sure that it is even on both sides of the panel.
  2. Remove sticky strip from back of jar dome. Add embellishments (Flowers for Every Season Gems and Woven Threads Sequin Assortment) carefully to top of stamped jar image. Add jar dome to top of jar image pressing around the jar to seal completely.
  3. Remove sticky strip from front of jar dome. Insert jar through back of embossed front panel.
  4. Adhere to Bermuda Bay Cardstock.
  5. Adhere to base card (Basic White Thick Cardstock)
  6. Add bow from twine of your choice.
  7. Attach leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Attach greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today. See you on Friday!
