A Hand-Painted Thank You: The Art of Thoughtful Gratitude

By | July 20, 2025

Hello my Stampin’ Friends

This charming thank you card (scene is from the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper) perfectly captures the warmth and personal touch that makes gratitude truly meaningful. The pastoral scene—with its cozy cottage nestled among rolling green hills, a winding dirt path, and soft cloudy sky—evokes feelings of home, comfort, and genuine appreciation.

Beautiful Gallery

The base card is made from Early Espresso cardstock cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. After folding it in half, I used a bone folder to create a crisp crease. For the frame, I cut two pieces of Early Espresso cardstock to 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and die-cut them using the Textured Notes die.

I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on the upper right portion of the scene. Next, I trimmed the designer series paper to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and secured the frame using adhesive strips to create dimension and visual interest.

For the card’s interior, I adhered the leftover strip of designer series paper to Basic White cardstock, then used the largest die from the Textured Notes Dies set to create a decorative border. I coordinated the envelope by using the same designer series paper on the flap to match the card’s front panel.
